Bryston BDA-1 DAC

I recently made my first sale here with a Sony XA-5400ES SACD player, and had so much fun I decided to sell another piece of spare gear. This piece is a Bryston BDA-1 DAC. This is a great DAC, especially for the price. It is about 3 years old, and has been mostly idle for the last year. Prior to this I was using a Benchmark Dac1 Pre, and, IMO, the Bryston is much better.
The DAC is in pristine shape, and it is a 17" black model.
While I have the manual and power cord, I do not have the original packaging. However, I will wrap it even more secure than the original.
I learnt my lesson shipping the SACD player, so this time there will be a nominal charge for insurance and shipping.
Bryston BDA-1 DAC. $1065.00
Shipping/insurance. $35.00
I also have a Bryston AES (XLR) digital cable if desired. $40

One point that I forgot is the weakness of this DAC is the USB connection. I have never used it, but reviewers say it sucks. However, the AES, RCA, and coax inputs are outstanding. If you want USB then the BDA-2 fixes that issue.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

You could get this DAC and the Stello U3 USB converter for less than the BDA-2 and still come out with better sound.

I will give this DAC a bump. I had the silver faced 17" in my set up for a while. Great sounding and built like a tank. GLWSAnthem D2v
