Anyone have this and listen to it? I just got mine and on the track "black tambourine", I get awful distortion in front R main.

I have an older pioneer universal player which might be having troubles since a lot is going on in that album(video and audio).

Was wondering if anyone else had noticed this or if they could check and see. Thanks.

I have listened to it. There is no distortion on my copy. It may be your player or receiver. Do you have any other DVD-A's you can test in the player? Or even a 5.1 channel movie? That will tell the tale.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Thanks for the reply. My other dvd-a's all play fine. I tested to make sure it wasn't speaker. Definitely that specific channel.

Also, it isn't the receiver cause i used pre out to external amp on same channel and it was still distorting. At this point I know it

is either the disc or that player. I am leaning toward the player as dvd is perfect condition. I read on interweb that some think

the disc is too demanding for older universal players. The next step is to play the disc on someones system. Unfortunately I

don't know anyone with surround and dvd-a capable player. Thanks again.

I've had no issues in 2-channel, but haven't got a 5.1 to do surround.
