I reposted a cl ad for some nice gear (which i knew i could not afford), from south georgia in the misc audio deals thread here.

I called the man, who is a retiring pastor, and made sure it was okay to do so.

Well, in the conversation i mentioned i would like to someday try some quality speaker wire and ics.

He said trust me with 25 bucks, and i think you wont regret it, and gave me his address.

Today in the mail was a box with some silver sonic t14s with monster bananas.

Listening to "The nightfly" by Donald Fagen, and wowwww.

The first notes were astonishing, a richer deeper sound, and the bass is not only deeper but seems tidier for lack of a better word.

Thank you pastor luther, and god bless.

Just one more example of a decent person willing to help,to do something good for others, not worrying so much about squeezing every last penny out of life, something polkies know all about.

Listening to a master recording pf wish you were here right now.

Folks, they are not kidding about the difference even a modestly expensive set of speak wires can make.

The first to tell me to put my meager resources towards this upgrade was Dan(endershadow), thank you.

If you don't mind my asking, what denomination? I think I'm ready to convert. Nice score!

Congrats man, nice cables at a steal of a price too. I always have some silver in my cabling somewhere. Many of us here have expressed what a decent cable can bring to the table and one just needs to try a few to draw their own conclusions. 9 out of 10 times they come back with a post like Scotty's.

I am using DH Labs air matrix with ultimate locking RCA and q10 speaker cables. Fantastic stuff and the price you got them is even better!!
