SDA signals are tough on amps because they resemble hooking amp channels together and that can be seen as a short circuit by the amp. This is worse when amps are totally separate pieces of gear.

Bridged amps are no longer common ground. Other thing is if you bridge an amp with a 8ohm speaker it sees 4 ohm, bridge and 4 ohm speaker now amp sees 2ohm.

Great answers. Thats sums it up quite well. We got into a long discussion & i just didnt know how to answer the question as to if it COULD be done in adding grounds or other tech processes above my knowledge. Thanks

IF (big IF) the SDA is of the last two generations (pin/blade SDA cable--such as your SDA 2B or 1C) you can install an isolation transformer in the SDA interconnect (Polk AI-1, or aftermarket "Dreadnought" upgrade.) Once the isolation transformer is in place, you no longer have a need for an amp with common-ground between the channels. Bridged amps are fine.

OLDER SDA speakers (blade/blade or previous connection) cannot use the isolation transformer, and are therefore NOT USABLE with any non-common-ground amps including bridged amps as long as the SDA interconnect is plugged in .

^^^^ i have read that here - when people wanna use a certain amp Not Common Ground. So that makes sense. I myself would never need to do that,as room size is a factor. They sound great to me the way i have them now. He went with me to pick up my RX-V1 & we saw this guys set up & he questioned why i dont do that to get better power to the speakers. I will show him this thread
