New Music System in the House

Recently I made some changes to my 2-channel system. Thanks to some of our forum members here is my new rig:

Speakers: polkaudio SDA 2.3TL
Preamp: Anthem Pre2L
CD Player: Jolida JD100
Amplifier: B&K ST140
FM Tuner: Denon TU-604CI
Cables: SignalCable, Blue Jeans Cable


The speakers are stock. The Anthem pre has some modifications and some sweet upgraded tubes. The Jolida CD spinner has been modded by Hot Rod Audio. B&K amp is stock.

This is the best music has ever sounded to me in my humble rig. Time to sit back and enjoy!

    Congrats. That must sound great. Love the Anthem and B&K combo and I run a Jolida CDP myself so I know how good those can sound. And last but not least BIG SDAs. What more can you ask for!

    That looks like a killer combo, I would love to get my ears on one of those Anthem Pre's one day. And I too love those B&K amps

    Sweet set-up. I also have the JD-100 that will best my Vinyl with the right disc, Sylvania 5751's are the "magic potion" for that player. I'm in the process of finishing up a pair of 2.3TL's also, kinda anxious to get them rolled in and have a listen. N'joy!

    Thanks! While not that particular brand, I do have some 5751's on the way for the Jolida. The 70% gain is interesting to me for that tube.

    That is a sweet rig indeed! I dont know how I missed that till now! I had a similiar rig one time with an Anthem Pre-1L, B&K ST-202+, and SDA-1Cs and it was one of the best sounding rigs I've had. Congrats on the new rig!
