Purchased this receiver for a friend of mine who is just starting
into audio. Unfortunately does'nt have a remote. What would be a
good inexpensive remote for this? Also the pre-out jumpers is missing and
currently using an old rca interconnect cable, want to find some jumpers more
like the originals. We hooked it up today to my friends system
using Polk RTA 11 speakers. It sounds pretty good. Thanks for you advice.

Simplest solution would be to buy this one. Unfortunately, that's about the going rate for these remotes.

Yeah ,I agree. I saw those on Ebay, original remotes are kind of pricey! Someone told me that any NAD
receiver remote would work, or even some universal ones, but was hoping somebody had some direct
personal experience they could share. Would a Harmony remote work? Thanks.

I think a Harmony would work, you'd just need the codes (or access to a NAD remote if the Harmony can 'read' the codes off a working remote). I just refreshed that ebay auction and the price jumped thirty bucks in the 50 minutes since I linked it! Much less attractive at $79 IMO.
