POLK AUDIO F/Xi3 SPEAKERS
Hello, POLKies was debating on adding these to my polk collection. Im currently running a 5.2 system but can make into a 7.2.
Whould these be beneficial to my home theatre? Dont want to lose too much power running them. Any inputs would be apprectiated. Thank you !!
Here's my current set up
Yamaha HTR-6180
Polk Monitor 75t
Polk CSi5
Polk RTi6
Polk PSW 505
Polk PSW 12
55" Samsung 8000
PS4
PS3
I know mish mash system, but i love it

I run FXi3's as my side surrounds and FXi30's as my rear's. I have RTi10's as fronts and a CSi5. They sound great, but you have to play around with placement to get the best sound. Work great for HT. I also like them for music. My Onk 805 has an ALL setting so music can crank through all of them. They are not real power hungry, so you shouldn't have a problem. they give nice dispersion. just my 2 cents.Onkyo 805

I use Fxi3's for rears and like them a lot, read up on dipole/dipole settings for placement and you'll be good to go! Congrats.

Frankly, I think you are doing a serious disservice to all of your speakers running them all on that AVR. The 75s are happy with oodles of power. And your avr's rating of 105wpc is with 1 channel driven. That more than likely drops to around 30-40wpc with all channels driven."Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

Yes i do plan on upgrading my amp soon. Ive had my avr for a few years now. Was running some inexpensive speakers back then... Then found polk's and been hooked !! I purchased these speakers all in the past year. All for $1100. Piece by piece.
