Anyone know why Polk discontinued the DSWmicroPRO 4000?

    Speculation says because the sub market is completely saturated with products that punch at the 4000's level but for half or less the price.
    SVS, Hsu, Rythmik, etc all put out products that can easily go toe to toe with the 4k at substantially less money and products that kick the snot out of the 4k at similar prices.

    Yeah, that's understandable...

    Wish I could find one or two new though...

    I was lucky to find a couple of them. They are truly impressive. Trinnov eq's them at 19hz. That is amazing considering their size. They blend really nicely with the LSi's. Create an alert in Google for them. Maybe one will show up.
