Hello,
New member, longtime lurker. I have some Monitor 70 Series II's and a CS2 center speaker and need to install some in ceiling speakers as rears. What model is matched to the Monitors?

TC, RC, MC and SC should all do OK. Timbre matching isn't really for critical surrounds- only left, right, and center- and those will mix with most the Polk line up apart from the LSi's. For HT, I could even make an argument for mismatched speakers enhancing the surround effect. For 5 channel audio, you would want to have something matching.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19

Good point about the surrounds not really needing to match like the fronts.
Thanks for the info. -
I bought my in ceilings to match my monitors when I had them. In all honesty nothing sounds wrong with them now that I changed to a different front stage. Pick the best ones you can afford.Display: LG 47" LCD | AVR: Marantz SR5005 | BD: Panasonic BDT-210 | CD/SACD: Oppo 980 |
