I am out of town and needing to get some speakers to tied me over..The speakers on my MBP don't cut it.

There is a pair of the Paradigm Mini Monitor (Vers. 2) on CL up here for $100.
Is this a good deal? What is people's opinions of them?

I think IndyHawg had/has a set of these as a 5.1 setup IIRC. That said I think he paid 100 for the full 5.1 setup but dont remember. If he does have these, I heard them on a Denon AVR he had and they were surprisingly good for what they were....

That said I will let him weight in on exactly what model he did/does have.

I had a pair and liked them well enough. $100 might be going rate, but I'd not pay more than $60-75. Liked them better than Monitor 4's or some Insignia's I had but not as well as my Monitor 5's.

That helps.. I have a couple of pairs of 4's so that gives me a reference....
I'll offer him $60 and see how it goes....
I wish I could even find a pair of 5's up here... don't have a pair of those yet...lol
the only ones I found up here was from a month and a half ago and they wanted $150 and never responded
