PSW 110 just died on me

not sure if it was right now, but i have it in a not so optimal location, right next to my listening position, and can usualy hear it working through its paces, but today, no. tried adjust volume from the avr, not much difference, tried to adjust the sub, got some static and popping turning the knob, set to lfe and lfe from avr, sub has been set to just a smidge above 50% on the amp, since i was corrected a couple months back. abr sub level is about 75%, avrset to reverse phase, sub set on 180. took the grill off, the cone kinda just barely tries o move, but still has full motion when moved by hand. havent taken it apart yet. I wasnt on keeping this as a main sub, as i have 2 505's and the rbh, but was thinking of saving this for down the road or selling to a buddy. i'll check my warranty status, but hasnt been 2 years since i bought it.

    Hello,
    Sorry there's a problem, but it sounds as though the bass amplifier has become defective. Give Polk CS a call at 1-800-377-7655 and have the unit's serial number and place and date of purchase handy when you call.
    They'll get things working for you.

    thanks do much Ken, love this little box, didnt wanna see it go **** up, although it may have turned into a speaker box or sub box for a car if it was no good. will call them a bit later on tonight.

    if i turn it up it tries to play, and i will get some really muddy "whump" kinda sounds on real low notes, fairly loud

    got a hold of polk cs, now i need to get a hold of their italian cs, because i bought the european version here in sicily, from a local store. viewing the pics on the website here, the european version has a slightly different amp.

    the warranty is much better over here, on the phone and email they told me it was indefinite
