Had the pleasure on Saturday to meet up with Geoff4rfc. Enjoyed some brews, tunes and some video. His rig was in 1 word "freaking amazing", OK that was 2 words, lol. Anyone who says running A9's as surrounds is overkill is seriously misinformed. It was like having subs in all 4 corners of the room. The imaging of his setup was phenomenal, he challenged me to tell where the vocals were coming from during 1 song. I SWORE it was coming from the center. It wasn't even on. Good times! Gonna have him over soon to listen to my meager setup

Just dont let him turn you "Emo" on us
BTW his nickname is "MO' POWAAAAAAA". And make sure to make fun of Styx's, he hates them "....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -

I'm not an amp guy even though my rig screams for one. We'll see after I get my new 1222K into the rack. And us being about the same age I enjoy Styx as well. He turned my on to a disc I didn't have and now am looking for. Sounded awesome! -
If it weren't for the local guys we have, I don't know that I'd be so active on this forum. Glad you two got to meet up - its always a good time when you can sit and talk shop with someone who shares the hobby.
Agreed!! -
