I am selling this for a buddy, that said I am taking FULL RESPONSIBILITY for this sale. You will deal with me start to finish on the transaction.

For sale is a AMC Integrated amp model (3025a). Its got a remote, phono input, and has the ability to connect up a dedicated amp rather than the onboard ones. My buddy has been using it for a secondary system (which is all up for sale). He is wanting to move this along so he can buy the Marantz HT AVR he really wants.

APPLICATIONS AND FEATURES
• Unique phono stage design that employs two audiophile grade op-amps per channel that provide very low THD, TIM and noise, together with switchable MM/MC sensitivities.
• The high overload tone control stage can be completely by-passed with the DIRECT switch to give
natural sound quality.
• Special designed passive Tone control circuit to give natural sound quality.
• Uses audiophile grade components through out, providing exceptional accuracy to phono and tone control responses.
• High overload margin on tone control circuit by virtue of its topologies.
• Power amplifiers with 30 Amp high peak output current devices to offer capabilities to drive almost all types of speaker systems.
• Power amplifiers with special designed perfect virtual image topology to make it possible to be without output relays. The topology connects amplifier outputs to speaker systems without relay contacts to offer best possible sound quality.
• Using high output current devices with optimized power supply designs, the power amplifiers can be only protected with fuses on power supplier side in order to delivery extremely high output current in demand to give superb sound quality.
• With universal power transformer passed all international safety standards, end users can uses the unit in all countries by rewiring the voltage links inside the unit by authorized distributors or dealers.
• Heavy duty gold plated loud speaker binding posts and phono connectors for ultra reliable connections.
• Use Analog to Digital converter and dedicated microprocessor to convert motorized pot positions to select proper input by selecting from front panel by hand or from remote control. (This is a patent pending design of Weltronics Corp.) Once you press the remote control, the input selector rotary knob will be driven by motor to the position selected and input switch will select the selected input. This give AMC product a very reliable way of making remote input selector into rotary type that normally other manufacturers has to spend a lot of money to do the same job in order to give the neat and elegant analog way of input selecting.
• The ADC/ microprocessor type of remote rotary control will make it possible to do any number of inputs in the future as required.
• The volume control uses high end motor driven type of VR to give sound quality same as high end pre-amp without remote control.
• The volume control also controlled by the same dedicated microprocessor controlling the rotary input selector. This make it possible to have the unit controlled by AMC standard codes - the AMC C-Bus codes.
• 3025a will be upgraded to be with AMC C-Bus connector on rear panel in order to be able to be connected to other AMC products with AMC C-bus connector including to go with AMC RCP01, Remote Control Pad to control from remote locations or through Power lines via AC outlets.

Haven't heard AMC's intergrated amps, but I own one of their hybrid tube amps and their pre-ampos and they are very very good. For $185 this is a pheoninal deal if it sounds nearly as good as their separates!

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Its actually pretty cool as this one has jumpers for pre-out and main in, meaning you could hookup a different amp if you needed. Kinda like the HK 3490's.

I can't believe this is still here. I listened to my AMC tube amp while my VK-200 was being repaired and thought is was great! Certainly not as good as the VK-200 but for $185.00 you would be hard pressed to find something better at this price. The amp they make sounds damned good for the price they sell it at. Someone should buy this!
