I have heard a lot of good about this brand but are these PA speakers? I see they were purchased at Guitar Center just interested.

    yep...PA speakers. I've never heard of them before. You are not thinking about Harbeth by chance are ya?

    They are PA speakers.
    Critical music listening is not an option but for parties, they work great.

    Even for pa speakers. Stay away lots of amp issues and for pa stuff, the powered qsc , ev or rcf or even the jbl sound way better.
