Hey Mike, The Rack is beautiful. Very nice work indeed. Let me know when you begin taking orders:smile: Speaks look great!

Thanks Dave, Won't be taking any orders soon! Too labor intensive! I'm getting closer to the day when I can roll in the 2.3TL's.

Excellent work, I really like that style of audio stand. What kind of TT have you got?
Good luck with your future projects.

My table is a VPI Classic 1, it sports a 20 lb. platter, the total weight is right at 60 lbs. I installed the center legs on the rack to help support the table and give it a solid base.

My only future project is finishing up a pair of 2.3TL's i'm rebuilding, I picked up some 5/4" Quarter Sawn Oak that I have made new top and bottom caps for them, that have turned out pretty good also, I will post some picks of those one day.

The rack and rebuilding two sets of SDA's have been some fun Winter projects, but I'm ready to move onto Spring!!!

Thanks Carl and everyone else. If your not familiar with Poplar, this is what it can look like with a Cherry Stain IMG_41031024x683_zps47e7e228.jpg

I actually attached a picture

Very nice finish...especially given the fact that Poplar is supposed to be a little more tricky to stain.
