I just sold a Squier P bass back before Christmas. I don't play bass but I got it in a trade with some other gear a few years back and never attempted to play it. If you play guitar as well and looking for something I can help ya.

Thanks for the offer! I don't play, just play with. For guitar I have a Gibson gothic explorer, wouldn't mind a Les Paul custom but not willing to pay for it given my playing ability.

Check the local pawn shops if you want used. You can probably pick up something new at a music store fairly cheap, too.

What's low cost? My buddy bought a 5 string Ibanez brand new for about 225 and I used it at a couple gigs we had and it actually sounded pretty decent. I would imagine you could get the 4 string would under 200 new.

    All good ideas, still looking!
Low cost is probably under a hundred for something that is gathering dust in someones basement.
