I'm pretty sure I can...I have 4 5x7's and 4 tweeters all factory in my 95 pathfinder le. I recently put some polk 10's for subs in the back...wanting to get better mids and highs. should i invest in some new speakers or keep my old factories? thanks

the decision is up to you if you want to or not because it is definately possible. the only problem you might have with factory locations is that the outer rim of the aftermarket speakers are some times a little too large in diameter but thats really nothing that a drill and some handy work cant fix. in response to if youd get better sound quality from aftermarket speakers...... definately but, realize that you wont really enjoy it as much if you do not upgrade the head unit as well. if you need some advice on what kind of speakers i would definately go with polk audio; seriously. im the type of consumer that takes things back almost weekly to exchange them for something else. now that might not be good for a company but its good for others who question brand quality. ive sound tested pretty much every brand of audio equipment that department stores sell and ive found that the polk audio speakers (coaxials) are practically impossible to distort or blow and offer the biggest bang for the buck big time. hopefully my longwindedness will help you in your journey.
