Hey everyone,
just wondered if I could find some pics of the crossover done so i can plan my attack...My question is about which order to put the new components on the board since these are much bigger...example being the polyswitch swap, the resistor will need to be in an odd angle...probably standing on end and leaning away...
parts are typical that have been talked about before
Clarity PX's in the highs
Solen in the lows
mills resistors
Thanks,
BK

the reason I think they were mine was 1. green tape and 2. all Clarity caps. Listening to them right now. Sigh.... they do sound good. Have the 5a's I did with the Sonicaps and Daytons sitting on top and they sound pretty darn good also. Don't have the low end and the high end is brighter than the 10's but they have there place. About done in the office and the 12's are warmed up downstairs in the livingroom. Those sound pretty darn good also. Cheers!!

Bruce, was just busting your chops. I posted because he was using Clarity which are huge compared to Sonicaps or Solen and Dayton. He'll either have to build a riser board, or try and stack. Stacking won't be pretty.Home Theater/2 Channel:

what gauge wire are you using to lengthen the leads...?
its funny i've been looking through a lot of past monitor 10 threads and there is always the before shot but never seem to have an end shot...Marantz 1152 DC- Denon DP 1200, Soundsmith Carmen MKII- ADS L980 - Blue Jeans IC's -
