Just flat out amazing woodwork, craftsmanship, and engineering.

Watching a project come together like this is totally humbling. I can't believe this thread didn't generate more interest and comments over there.

The huge Polk Power Ports were simply works of art.

That guy is a member of AK, and it did generate some good response 'over there'. You should see his matching DIY speakers, using the Vifa Ring tweet.

I thought about posting a link here a while back, but decided not many here would appreciate it - I should have emailed you on it!

    Cheers,

Amazing craftsmanship and a great idea. He made the construction of that project look easy. Another inspiring project is Mike Keith's sealed and ported sonosub http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=25075&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

Just amazing.......where do these guys come up with this stuff?? A truck window crank assembly to raise and lower the Power Port - major cool factor.

Yeah, Russ - anytime you see something cool/unique shoot it over to me. I love to appreciate the work these guys are capable of.

Sid - I think that is a Stryke HE15 driver. A real brusier, isn't it? The TV-12 in your Dad's PC-Ultra will definitely look like a smaller version of this driver.

It really sheds alittle light on those that think about putting together a sub to run with some of the big boys and think it is not that hard. This really took some thought , planning and about one forfited weeks vacation to put together. Looks like one cool project with excellant craftmenship. Looking at the amount of work and time involved I think I will stay with my ready-2-run sub. Looking forward to the final results and pics, I'm sure it will look really sweet.
