all righty - given the poster, I assume this isn't spam ;-)
I am breaking out my Edward Snowden Secret Decoder Kit to see what information I can extract from the sixteen pixels of data in that image!
well -- tell you the truth, it looks more like a very old fashioned UHF-TV add-on tuner to me than anything else - but that's not what it is (I don't think)!
Maybe (????) a transformer or autoformer volume control, or a stepped potentiometer attenuator (i.e., using a bunch of fixed resistors)... or maybe a switch box with a lot of positions.

While looking around at pre-amp's I saw that thing and it obviously caught my attention. Something that looks like THAT may have some redeeming qualities.

It does look pretty cool - if it is a passive attenuator (and the price is right), heck yeah, grab it!

Being a Wisconsin guy you may be attracted to that pre-amp. I used to live in Thiensville Wi. I know what it's like to go cow tipping. -

well - my best dump finds to date have probably been
- JBL 275 compression drivers, 600 Hz XOs, and right angle (Metregon) horns, and a pair of LE8T drivers
- Pair of Allison Ones
- EICO ST-40 with all original tubes (Mullard GZ34 included) from the scrap metal pile - worked as salvaged.
Naah, this forum's been funny latterly in terms of posting photos and embedded videos...
