Yamaha RX-A1020, tsi300 frt, cs10, psw110...looking to upgrade fronts

As the subject says, I have the Yamaha RX-A1020, 110 watts. I am considering making my current fronts (Tsi300) into my surrounds (I currently have no surrounds), and getting the RTi-A5 as fronts, and possibly swapping the PSW111 for the PSW125. Any thoughts on this? Is this a real upgrade? Should I consider something different for the fronts (I was goingto get the TSi500 but they have been discontinued) as far as timbre matching? Thanks

Nothing wrong with your choice of fronts, your subwoofer choice however is dismal.

Actually, both subwoofer choices are dismal. The bare minimum sub I would consider for HT use would be the PSW505 or the BIC F12.

HAHA, well, I appreciate the very quick response!! I prefer the honesty too about the subs. Any particular reason the subs are dismal? I am by no means an expert obviously. Just lookin to get educated

The smaller subs tend to "chuff" through the port.
    That's the short answer.

The long answer...well, they just aren't very capable when it comes to HT or very musical.
