The monitor 40's arrived today, I hook them up to the living 2ch setup for some testing. I was very pleased with the musical sound fair amount of bass. One thing for sure is the more power you feed them the better they sound. I will leave them in one of the daughters room for now and maybe move them into the master bedroom at a later time.

    The master plan is when they are all gone (hopefully within the next 5-7 years) I can use any of the rooms as a retreat and sit back and enjoy. So right now the down stairs bedroom has the R 30's, 1st up stairs has the 40's and the other has the T15's with a sub.

    I have the same deal here. Daughter had whole upstairs & when she turned 17 she gave me one of the bedrooms :) now shes 18 i want the bigger room LOL but if i have it my way she will be with us till 30 :) cause she's a blast to hang out with.. they grow quick

    I think I will hang out in her room today to give them a full workout. I asked her about them and she said "I had not had time to busy on my phone." :( I just SMH
