Looking to go another direction in my dedicated listening room after enjoying these immensely over the past year. You will never find another pair of the legendary KEF 105s (the original, first iteration) in better condition than these. These were completely refurbished, to include: entirely rebuilt crossover with modern parts (built to the original specs); rewired inside with premium DH Labs wire; both speakers re-veneered in a gorgeous red mahogany; heads and front painted in a hammertone dark grey which turned spectacular; even the metal grills over the drivers were repainted and new casters added as well. The grills are original and were still in nice shape so those were pretty much the only parts not rebuilt. The drivers are all excellent and sound superb. The original KEF 105 is always listed as one of the most influential speakers ever built and were used as recording reference monitors all over the world. A listen to these explain why; detailed but comfortable. Extremely musical. I do not have original packing boxes so prefer a local pickup in San Antonio. I would be willing to drop off to a packer/shipper I have used before with perfect success but the buyer would be responsible to cover all packing and shipping costs. These are pretty much museum quality and will provide the next owner a tremendous pride of ownership over a truly classic design. Email if you have any questions.

I'm asking $1150 for these. Considering their pedigree and amount of work that has went into these, I feel this is a tremendous bargain.
