Martin Logan owners - question regarding placement measurements

OK...dumb question. I've got the Martin Logan Source. When they say to place the speaker a certain number of feet from the front wall (wall behind the speakers), where do you measure to, the panel or the back of the base? They don't mention this in the manual at all. I guess it's supposed to be obvious? :^ /

    From the back of the panel, according to the video on their website. I had the same question. I spent countless hours arranging my ML to get proper placement, and it makes a major difference in sound staging when u tweak em just right! Good luck!

    Thanks...of course now I find that in the manual. I swear I never saw that before :^ /
