LSi 25 amp popping...

I bought a pair of LSi 25 speakers from the Polk direct ebay store last January. They have been perfect until the past month or so. The right speaker has been popping and its a loud sounding thump almost. It occurs totally randomly. Sometimes five or six times in a day, other times it is every 10-15 minutes. It has even popped after my main amp is turned off. So it is the sub amp in the speaker, turning it off has totally stopped the popping.

These speakers have never been over driven and the amp I power them with is rated to 2 Ohms.

Anyone else experienced this? I did send this to customer support but wanted to see what others might have experienced.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
