Wow. Total bummer. You're a club polk member so you get a discounted rate on replacement drivers. Mention that when you call polk to order new drivers. I wouldn't replace the tweeters until you get something to power them with and can hear them.

They should be arrested and charged with grand theft, burglary, and felony vandalism. Doesn't matter in my mind what precipitated their actions. This kind of willful destruction of someone else's stuff is a premeditated act that goes beyond a room-mate dispute.

Good on pressing charges, but I would be moved into a new place before acquiring any more gear beyond a clock/radio.

File a claim with your renters insurance company and let them handle getting money back from your roommates via subrogation.

Don't think you can do anything about that high gloss finish.

I'll be another vote for hunting them down, until they decided it was in their best interest to replace things with as good as or better. Of course some people are stupid, and they may need to be reminded a couple hundred times.

Wow. Thats just awful. Those polks didn't deserve that. Seeing those pics reminds me of a Sara Mclachlan commercial, " I will remember you, will you....." Good luck.

Wow! So immature and childish no matter the situation. As was mentioned as a CP member you get a discount on replacement speakers. I think you might be stuck with the scratches though. Hopefully you can prosecute and get full replacement. I wish you good luck!

I wouldn't fix any of it, I would just start over, no way I could look at them after that, plus I don't think it's worth the time and money..

I'm sure you aren't rich otherwise you wouldn't have roommates and you would just start over, all new.
I bet you don't have insurance either, I didn't in my apartment days.
You could file a police report so you can maybe take the mishap off your income tax.
The speakers look like the dust covers are pushed in check them out if they work you can get most of that out.
Superglue a piece of string and pull gently may work.
Get some turtle wax white polishing compound for those scratches it's going to take time and all will not come out.
If the receiver worked okay remember that it's just a metal cover maybe you can buy one ot make a custom wood one.
