Never had my ears on these, anyone have thoughts on these?

    Only heard them once many moons ago. If memory serves, they were fairly good speakers and many bought them up here when they came out. My impressions were middle of the road, walked way with a "nothing special" impression, even though I can recall they didn't do anything in particularly bad. They just didn't stand out as doing anything particularly good either. I think Darla may still have hers, I dunno.

    That may not be of any help, but they were popular at their time of release. You just don't see them anymore and that could be a good thing or bad. I think, again if memory serves, after they came out Salk was just hitting the streets, kicking **** and taking names. Some have migrated in that direction.

    I owned a pair a couple of years ago and really enjoyed them. Superior imaging and craftsmanship. A bit pricey though but I guess you get what you pay for. I've owned at least 200+ pairs of high end speakers in my life and I would put them in my top 20 for what that is worth.
