May 23rd is when they come to town has anyone seen them with William Duvall. If so how was it? I like the last two albums, how is this new lineup live I probably will get tickets. I have not seen them since the late 90s when they were at the Monsters of Rock over in Europe, Sound Garden, and Pearl Jam, those three bands were new on the scene then. So anyone seen them with Duvall on board?

I saw Alice in Chains (w/Duvall) when they opened for Velvet Revolver at SPAC (Saratoga Springs, NY) in 2007.

They put on a great show and really rocked. I would definitely recommend seeing them.

Love AIC. Go see it them you have the chance! One of the very few bands who lose their lead singer and come back strong. RIP Layne...

Seen them with Staley, doesn't Cantrell do most of the singing now? Or does Duvall do more than just the songs off the last two albums. Just wondering, I'am sure it will be a good show regardless.

Wasn't until after Layne passed that I realized how much Jerry actually sang. Layne had a once in a lifetime kind of voice, but Duvall's voice is great also...just different. But its not too different. It's similar enough to do almost justice to the old catalog.
