Question: LSiC or dual LSi 7 for a center channel

Anyone ever tried or run a set of LSi 7's as a center channel in place of a LSiC. Given how they are setup, you could run them either with the tweeters on the outside, or on the inside.
Just curious if that might be better than the LSiC. I will probably try it just because, but would love it someone else has already done it and can give their thoughts.
P.S. I know DK runs dual LSi 9's for his center.

When I had 1st joined the forum I had PM'd DK about his 9's as centers. So I did a demo at the distribution center's HT room with the 7's and yes much better quality center chnl projection. I always have meant to purchase a pair of 7's but never got around to it.
Just split Y out of center chnl signal output to 2 amp inputs2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures
Desktop rig: LSi7, Polk 110sub, Dayens Ampino amp, W4S DAC/pre, Sonos, JRiver
Gear on standby: Melody 101 tube pre, Unison Research Simply Italy Integrated
Gone to new homes: (Matt Polk's)Threshold Stasis SA12e monoblocks, Pass XA30.5 amp, Usher MD2 speakers, Dynaudio C4 platinum speakers, Modwright LS100 (voltz), Simaudio 780D DAC

Yeah, that was not a problem to figure out how to do. I may play with it just to see how it works. Guess its a good thing I haven't ordered my center channel speaker cables yet...
I am thinking of using my existing 7's as a center, 15's as L/R, and my F/X's still as surrounds. That leaves me one channel short of being able to go 7.1 (assuming I need to use a dedicated amp rather than the onboard Integra's). Then perhaps buying either another Carver 705x so I can adding some LSi in ceilings to go 7.1, and have the ability (when I get a AVR that can do it) getting 1 more set of 7's for heights."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Unfortunately Polk discontinued the LCi series in wall, but the vanishing series would work fine too.2-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures

Yeah I noticed, but they get em every now and again on the ebay site. I could in theory go with the other 8 ohm in ceilings (has to be in ceiling) and drive the surround rears off the AVR and drive everything else (L/R/C x2/SR/SL/HL/HR) off amps. If I did that I could try to find a AV-806x (6 channel Carver) to drive everything but the L/R which my Carver M1.0t will be handling.
Or again I could just go with in wall's for the heights, and surround rears with 8 ohm Polks leaving me with enough dedicated amp channels to handle my setup as it stands with an extra one just in case. That might be the best scenario so that I actually utilize the receiver I have.
My Integra can do 7.1 but no heights. The Receiver that will eventually replace it with will have to have options for heights & wides (if possible). I keep waivering on the Pio Elite units, or a standard Onkyo/Integra due to my need for little to no amp power, simply a pre.
I REALLY like Anthem, but so far they are only 7.1.
I got some time till I replace the AVR.
For now just exploring my options since when my M1.0t gets back I will have 7 channels of amp and only 5.1 (right now). When we get into our house I want to be running 7.1 pretty quick so I can finally enjoy blu ray lossless in 7.1 rather than just 5.1"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
