Anyone collect Arrowheads?

This was given to us on our recent trip to Idaho, found many years ago north of Idaho City, we were told not to part with it, which we have no intentions of have a few other arrowheads but none this massive. I actually wonder if its not a spearhead, we have been researching on the Tribes in Idaho, there were quite a few tribes. This is 3 1/2 inches long, would be neat to find its origin. Is there any Arrowhead experts in the house

    Not an expert, but used to collect them as a kid. Back when El Paso was mostly desert we would camp out and search. Fairly easy to find too that's how many were laying on the ground.

    Find what local tribes were in your area and you can probably gain some historical knowledge of how they were made.
