cartridge came today

My Grado Black cartridge came early this morning. As I suspected it was an easy change over just some finese and patience was needed. I 1st loosened the top head shell screw which allows for swivel travel and then w/ a tiny tech screw driver pried off the leads. The new cart gives the layout but I copied it just the same. After that I just loosened the minor bolts and nuts that hold the cart to the head shell.I reversed the process and viola,after some tracking and minor adjustments I have a new cart and it already sounds better than the GF-3 which I have no Idea how old or how many LPs it's turned.Nice, and for 1/2 the going price @$30 w/ shipping from Statement Audio & Video, speak to Tom Manley.They are closing their retail shop and are selling all sorts of stuff @ discount rates. I believe he is connected or partners w/Terry Dewick the go to guy for fixing McIntosh gear.(No affiliation just a happy customer)

    Randy ,Thanks a lot for a guy who picks up nice stuff almost weekly I appreciate the compliment from you. About the pix I think I finally got it down w/ Photobucket, some college aged kids at my library helped me sorting out my picture posting nightmare. I think I'll wait on changing my sig for a while.
