Anybody tried any of these? Looks like a pretty good idea to help keep HDMI cables connected, but I don't know anything about the quality of the actual cable being used.

I've never had a problem with any HDMI cables staying connected. Except for changing out my BR player the other HDMI cables haven't been touched for close to 5 years. Have you had a problem with yours coming disconnected? If so maybe you just need better cables.

Not any problems but I thought this was a pretty neat idea and was wondering if the cables were any good.

I've never had any issues with them pulling out either, but I do worry about the stress on the port from the weight of 4 foot of cable hanging down. Locking cables won't solve that, so I came up with a simple solution:

You can get self adhesive zip tie holders:

I use these, both to protect the ports on my receiver from getting worn out and to make sure the weight of the cable doesn't cause a connection issue:

    Can't recommend them enough.

I also use those stick on cable tie mounts to bundle all of the cables on my cabinet into neat channels, power on one side, speaker cables and digital cables in the middle, analog signal cables on the other side. Those mounts are worth their weight in gold, but monoprice sells them for like $4 for a hundred.
