The interconnect port on my new to me sda 2a's has a crack in it....am i up the river...?

    nope it should still work or you could replace with the Neutrik speakon connectors as many have done

    just make sure you can tell there is friction on the blades. If not you may need to get inside to pull them out of the socket and pinch a little tighter for a firmer grip. I've had to do the same thing. I have never tried but you maybe able to just do it from the back just check and see with a very small screw driver. Be very careful as that plastic is old and brittle.

    Also make sure that the crack is not leaking air from inside the cabinet through it, the SDA's like to have a sealed cabinet.

    +1 Air leaks diminish the bass response.

    Going to do all this but these are on the back burner....I'm restoring my monitor 10b's then next I'm restoring my hafler xl 280...going to fill it full of goodies from musical concepts...
