Ordered a CD from Amazon on Tuesday night at 9:30 and it was at my house when I got home at 4:00 yesterday.

What's the purpose of this thread? None, just thought it was fairly impressive.

    It helps when you have Amazon warehouse nearby too. We have one within like 1-hour drive, so if I order before 3pm, I usually have the package on our porch in the morning next day. That's using their free non-express mail.

    I've noticed this too. Its not unusual to get items "next day". I have prime so things almost always get there under 48 hours. I even got a package yesterday, after all the snow.

    I can't wait till they deploy the drones and I get my stuff in hours, not days.

    I had an amazing moment with DirecTV. Sunday afternoon I called to get a receiver replaced that was bad. Tuesday morning it was on my front porch!
