I think I remember reading over the past few weeks that there's one that had problems? was that a different series altogether?
all I can see on the 2205A or 2205AT is that the T has the DC trigger, right?

sorry fellas, I think i got this mixed up in some earlier reading - it was about two different versions of a different brand of amp, citing that some of one of this particular amp developed leaky capacitors, blah blah blah.
Differences between the 2205A and 2205AT, according to Parasound, are only the faceplate and some chassis modifications.
so, they're both good.I disabled signatures. -
When searching Parasound amps, look for the older HCA series, gobbs of power and sound quality to boot. Plus you can pick them up for a song these days. Anything from B&k that has 200 watts a channel into 8 ohms will also serve you well.HT SYSTEM-

just wanted to chime in that I have an hca-1200 driving my rta12b's, and it's the cats meow, as far as I'm concerned. I wouldn't part with it for all the tea in china
