You can call polk but yes they are hard to find. I've been looking to trade my polk rt300p's for another set of f/x1000's for a while with no luck.

I have located a local seller which has a cs1000p and it appears to have a very low number for the serial number, which got me thinking about how many were actually produced. I am not sure I will be able to pick this one up. The seller is wanting 650 for it, but it's in great condition.

About a month ago I did find a set of FX1000's on a Craigslist add in OKC. I don't recall the price. The CS1000 is good, $650 is a little high for my tastes, but its all in what you want. It would need to be MINT for that price. I also have my eyes open for one, and about a month ago just missed one on Ebay that went for around $375. If you look at it make sure that amp works.

IMO a good price for a mint cs1000p is $400-$450. I would like to take a listen next to a cs400 to determine if it sound that much better with the added 6.5" powered subwoofers on the cs1000p

It seems the CS1000p is easier to find than Rt3000p's are nowadays.

I have four CS1000p. One I bought brand-new in 2000 and the others were purchased over the years.

I have three pairs of f/x1000 speakers.

None of these speakers are what I would consider to be rare although they are awesome and are getting harder to find in good shape.

You're a lucky man for having 2 rt5000p's in the same room!

if you can't find the CS1000P, try to find the SRT Center. they share the same tweeter, i think.

I have owned several cs1000p's but never saw any SRT centers for sale locally. I feel that they are more rare and in more demand:/

All of my RT5000 stuff is in storage after my move to St. Louis. 3 complete systems plus a few odds and ends.

I have an SRT system now too. It consists of the two front satellites and subs plus the center with no rear surround speakers. It does have two SDA control centers and a mint remote though.

I have one CS1000p in well cared for condition. Asking $450 plus shipping or local pickup if anyone is interested.

Note, the center channel speaker is heavy, weighing in at 60 lbs.

The other 2% will work for WalMart.
