Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

I was just thinkin' how much Jessie is "keepin' the lanes straight" (i.e. keepin' the "riff-raff" in order) in the last few days and the last few years. Not to mention the Happy Birthdays he offers everyone!

He's ok if you can get past the smell of booze and cheap cigars he always chews on but never smokes.

    Kidding...

You'd be hard pressed to find a better dude to talk shop with, audio or anything else. Word has it he's also quit the sailor too, but I find myself a little stand off-ish on any "3 hour tours" he may offer up.

I heard Jesse counted to infinite....three times

On the day of Jesse's birth, after a successful delivery, Jesse roundhouse kicked the doctor and stated "nobody delivers Jesse but Jesse!"

Yep, he gave me the epic "Fail" once, but I still like him. However, my bank account doesn't! He was one of the first people here to help me with my plethora of questions when I joined. His recommendations are always expensive, which doesn't always jive with my wallet. But they are always good suggestions. I'll always remember my first night here in the forum and he and a couple others were explaining the finer points of cables and their cost, and I knew I was in for a world of hurt. When he mentioned that his front pair of cables in his HT rig cost more than my whole system, I almost had an accident in my shorts...the brown kind. High-five for not being on your bozo list and for always taking the time to answer questions.

F1, you should get a trademark for the word "Fail". Sort of like the way Paris Hilton got a trademark a few years ago for the phrase, "That's hot!" That way, whenever someone uses the word "fail", they'll have to pay you trademark royalties. You'd be the Paris Hilton of the Club Polk forum. Now that's hot! Oops, now I owe Paris a quarter.
