I just got my amps today. I got both for $320. Not a bad deal. The sub is blown..but Im contemplating selling it and getting an older 12" momo because the magnet looks better. Im planning on doing a plexi/fiberglass install in my trunk. Anyone got any ideas for an enclosure and amp rack in an IS300?

O..would the new MM12 momo grill fit on the old mm12?

Let me know what you think of the new Polk amps. Im very curious as to how good they sound.

Im kind of leary when a master speaker maker like Polk decides to start making amps. Sometimes it all comes together and they do them both right like JL Audio or Diamond audio. Sometimes it flops, like Phoenix Golds super sweet amps and half assed speakers, or Rockford Fosgates awesome amps and their semi decent speakers.

Im pulling for Polk to be in the JL/Diamond category.

    Will do.

I was leaning toward an older momo because I read a few things saying that they were better. From a looks standpoint i think they do look better.

the new momos can handle more power
they also dont have a problem with the tinsel leads breaking
i couldnt tell a difference in the sound until i cranked it up, then the newer momos sounded better

I was just wondering where you got both those polk amps for $320. I am doing a set up just like that and that was a sweet deal. Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanx

just want to let you guys know that I installed my C300 and it is amazing. Clean hard hitting base just like I wanted. This thing takes everything I give it like nothing..cant wait to put in the C400 when i get the components.

New review in the latest car audio mag backs up my opinion of this amp.
