My sig might say Signal cable and Monster cable i/c. Well one of the Signal Cable ends came apart and I've been using a mixed set to go from amp to pre. Today I got what I believe is the middle of the pack from Blue Jeans Cable.It's Belden 1694a @3 feet per pair.So far I'm loving what I'm hearing and again you guys who insist better grade cables and matched pairs at that do work better. Yes it does.Now I have a pair of Monsters going from pre up to the Yamaha to p/u all the other sources so that's all sorted out.
I have 1 more inexpensive item on the way .I ordered a Grado Black cartridge that lists all over the place for $70+ shipping and I got it from Tom Haney @ Statement Audio for $30 w/ shipping and yes that's the full cart and stylus and tool.He's the guy who works w/ Terry Dewick the McIntosh and all other sorts of electronic reburb and repair.Tom is closing the retail side and if anyone is looking for some real bargins give them a ring.

    Thanks for the reference to the Grado cartridge! I was going to order one a few weeks ago but was busy doing other things and didn't get around to it.
