I have a pair of Eminence woofers that were used for passive subs I no longer have. I'd hate to scrap these. There's one catch you pay shipping. They are heavy monsters I do not have pictures or exact model number right now but can Email that info to you. I also have metal cages to go over them. The cages go with the woofer so do not ask to separate.
Thanks
no number no guessing first come first serve......

Damnit! lol Sorry I missed out on this! Great karma pit!--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
I may be interested depending on the model number."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

thanks guys. Enders also reached out to me. So first I give Dave some shipping quotes. If he passes Enders said he would take them when he comes over in April as he will be driving to my area.
Face I will put up some info tomorrow just so everyone knows. I'm sure Dan will have a ton of questions on his project he has in mind, so who knows maybe they will not work for that I do not know for sure either way I'm going to be open book here its the only way I know -
Just so its knows what my thought process is here.....
One word.....
SONOTUBE.........
Ivan gave me plans a LONG TIME AGO from a buddy of his for a HUGE sonotube that uses 2 15" opposed drivers and is tuned to 17hz. I am thinking this might be good for that... or if not that, possibly 2 sonotubes for a stereo set powered by either a plate amp, or a pro amp (so I can set levels)..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
That would highly depend on the drivers in question. For example, the Alpha 15A would require a Sonotube volume of 85ft^3 if you want an F3 in the 20's."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
-
V = pi*r^2*h. 15 inches diameter (ish) means 85 ft^3 = pi * (0.625ft)^2 * h; h = 68 feet (length of Sonotube if it were exactly 15" in diameter).
No problem! ;-)
Guess The Alpha Eminence might not be the best choice... -

Alpha 15A = H frame OB
it's deja vu all over again! ;-)

yep even in test mode.....
I really hope they try and get this mess figured out...I'm not holding my breath as it should of already been done. -
I'm going to pass. It's a great Karma and very generous of you, but I was thinking stereo sonotubes and it looks like open baffle would be best and that's something I haven't done before and others can make a better project out of it..

That isn't the OB driver, this is: http://www.parts-express.com/eminence-alpha-15a-15-driver--290-407"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Found this on ebay, lists a max RMS, but no real stats... still digging:
Also this nuggetthis MCM/Eminence is 55-765 built in 1998 - 'think'(?) its like current Delta Pro- (bet DJK knows) - good driver"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." These were used in a Altec Voice of the Theater boxes with a pair of 3" ports that were 2" long. I covered the front on the VOT box with 1" MDF glued and screwed and cut the back to accommodate the 15" driver so I had a nice wood front. XO was crossed @ 90Hz the rest went to my Cerwin Vega D7's sub/sat like combo(before I knew better) so I know they can be used in a box. They were fed with a Carver TFM45. You could blow out a candle at 5' EASILY. -
Get you ducks in a row Dan:loneranger:
I know I got them before that as Queenryche Promised land had just came out and that was the very first music they made.
1994ish -
Eminence is fairly responsive:
Just email the spec number to info@eminence.com along with a note that you would like a copy of the params and we will gladly forward that information to you if available. Please include either your email address or fax number. You will find the spec number on a small label attached to either the side of the magnet or the inside one of the basket arms with our spec number and manufacturing/date code on it. The spec number will begin with the size of the speaker (i.e. for a 10" it would be 101123).
So they need that 15869 #. The other number just tells you it's from the 13th week of 1995.Gallo Ref 3.1 : Bryston 4b SST : Musical fidelity CD Pre : VPI HW-19
