Yamaha V1800! finally no more 1980's jvc COUPLE OF QUESTIONS

So I finally upgraded to a much much better receiver , I recently purchased a used v1800 and I have zone 2 sending signal to my nad amp which powers my monitor 10s. Now the problem im having is with volume control. Is there a way to control the volume through the Yamaha receiver when zone two is on ? I cant seem to figure it out.
Yamaha V1800 receiver along with a NAD 2600a and 2700a .

Monitor 10 and 12

    This unit actual comes with a smaller remote for the zone2/3 controls.

    H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.

    Yeah I read that same page. It it didn't help me any , I have the second remote but to my knowledge I should still be able to turn down the volume with the 1st remote. Idk ill do more messing around with it when I get home maybe I missed something . Thanks

    You still have to go threw the process of setting up the second zone in the receiver menu.
