I can only imagine how insane planning that out was. I would totally spend a entire day there just watching.

The small details really make the differences.

You have to "wonder" who would come up with something like this, what levels of OCD were bankrolled by big money to miniaturize the WORLD so that one can experience it without ever actually leaving the building and "engaging" it? This one's just at the edge of sanity. Not enough to get the men in white coats to come for you, at least not until you start to replicate the other planets in the solar system, the sun, the asteroids, the Oort Cloud and nearest star systems? Then the galaxy itself and beyond. At that point you should probably be "locked" up for your own good!

This reminds me of a story by Borges about a land of Cartographers who are so obsessed with trying to create the PERFECT map of their land that they continue to increase the detail and the size of that map until the map is as big as the territory beneath it and ends up taking up all their time in patching and repairing it because of the foul weather above it.

Come to think of it, that Borges story also might be an appropriate metaphor for the audiophile who spends a lifetime pursuing the Holy Grail? There is no doubt that someone could write a GREAT COMEDIC series about audiophiles that would split our sides and have us begging for mercy!

You should look at the 2013 version. Quite a bit was added to it.

Including a few things that are not quite family friendly if you look hard enough.
