Quick advice needed
There are a couple acutions ending soon and I need advice......quick
I need either a cs400i, csi40 or csi30 to match my Monitor 10A's. I have given up on the cs400i and csi40 because they just get priced out of my range.
There are a cs245 and cs300 auctioning now. Do either of these closlely match the csi30????
Is one better than the other (245 vs 300)?
Has anyone heard of the 300?? I can't find it on Polks site.
TIA

Yes, I have been referring to that page for over a month now. But it does not tell me how the cs245 compares to the CSi30 and doesnt; tell me anything about what the CS300 is.

I think I am the one with the polk CS245 for sale at ebay that ends friday night. I just bought a CSi30 to replace it because I got a great deal on it. The first thing I did was take both speakers and hook them up to a NAD reciever and set the reciever to mono so the exact same signal would go to both centers. I could tell only subtle differences in the two. The Csi 30 seemed a little brighter. I have had both hooked up to my system that consist of two RT7's and FXi30 surrounds and both blended in very well. The center channel in both cases drew very little attention to itself which is what I want. The CS245 is in near exellent shape. I say near because if the light hits it just right you can see some faint scratches (no one will ever notice I would say). Here is the link
