Rebuilding from Sandy, Installing a new A/V system, might have left something out?

Here is what I am doing and maybe someone can assist me with some ideas with wiring and general installation or something I just missed?
I am in new construction of my house that was hit by Sandy. I have a small 11' x 27' open shared space living room/kitchen. 11'x16' is dedicated Living room space. I am installing all Polk in-ceiling speakers.
• 1 center 90RT In-Ceiling.
• 2 front speakers. 90RT In-Ceiling
• 2 rear surround speakers in ceiling. 80F/X-RT In-Ceiling
• 1 subwoofer DSWpro660wi 12" Subwoofer
A/V Receiver - Onkyo TX-NR626.
Second zone will go thru the house to in ground speakers outside.
Wire - IN-WALL 14 AWG Speaker wire CL2 all copper. All the A/V wires will be installed new in-wall.
A/V equipment - A nearby closet is where all the A/V equipment will be stored. I will be using a 7.2 Home Theatre Speaker Wall Plate with HDMI. The center channel speaker connections will be used for the Zone 2 section on the A/V receiver for the outside speakers.
TV - Behind the TV a HDMI wall plate.
Subwoofer - a wall plate for the subwoofer connection .
Cable TV - Inside closet, Cable TV box hooked up to the A/V Receiver. it will be connected to a coaxial wall plate, all coaxial will be thru the house in the walls.

Do you have any other ideas, suggestions or tips on installation? Again maybe i missed something really important and will regret not having this included or installed when the walls are open.

Thanks for your help.

    NO, that was a mistake.
Sorry and thank you for pointing that out.
I will be using the unit as a 5.1 leaving the other 2 connections of the 7.1 not in use. I will be using zone 2 with the outside speakers.
I was wondering do I need to add anything, or am I missing anything that I should know about?

    Thank you,

The receiver is a bit on the low end, and if you like to be able to upgrade anything later I would look for an AVR which can give you preamp outputs. You will Thank me later....

I have not purchased a A/V receiver yet so what is low end about the unit? It looks like I have everything I need out this A/V Receiver, is it not enough power? Bad manufacturer? Why should I not buy it? I called up Polk, told them everything that's on my original post and they said the Onkyo TX-NR626 is a good match. I am all ears and would love the feedback, it can only make my system that much better.

I really do not plan on upgrading anything down the road. The speakers should last 10+ years, The A/V unit should last the same.
I do not mind spending a couple of hundred more on the A/V unit and i do understand about the Pre-amp input. I can always buy an pre-amp later and add it to the mix, if i wanted or needed. BUT I got a budget and I have to stick to it and i know you get it.

    Warmest regards,

I will say I looked at the TX-NR727 and it has a few things I like over the TX-NR626. it has 2 extra zones, it has a pre amp input, it has 110W compared to 90W. There are a few things also that add up to a better A/V unit, but I would like to hear your ideas on a new A/V unit?

    Cheers,

    Artie,

Not a fan of either 727 or the 626 never own one of those but had an Onkyo AVR once, I moved to Pioneer. But look at the back of 727 vs. the 828

    http://www.crutchfield.com/p_580TXN727/Onkyo-TX-NR727.html?tp=179

See the pre amp outputs on the 828 it's all outputs vs. only the subwoofer on 727 big difference.

Not trying to have you spend more cash, but think this way you spend $500 or $800 now, but later like to add an amp and you need to replace the AVR and still buy an amp later. So a little more now and you will save some later.

    Artie-
Welcome to CP, we are REALLY good at spending OPM. That receiver should drive those in walls just fine. IF you perhaps want to go a different route in you future speaker array you may want to consider something a bit more powerful and probably having pre-outs to add an amp. If you're a Costco member and your local store(s) stock them (not all do) look for a Pioneer 1222K. Just picked one up myself for $399. Too lazy to look at the one you're considering sells for...

Maybe it's just me, bur I would rethink putting the center in the ceiling.

I was told by two different people at polk it was better to have the center in the ceiling on the same line as the front speakers. I on the other hand wanted to buy the 255c-RT as the center and install in the wall above the TV. I went with their recommendations but do not need to stick to it. Now you got me thinking...

Bringing this thread back to the A/V receiver, any ideas on a $500 - $800 price range?
