Yep, the wife saw the little booger at 2 am sliding across the kitchen floor. Thing is, I'm more apt to let the little sh$t stay 'till spring. If I dump him outside now, he'll most certainly die. Obviously he's found a way from the attic into the main floor. I think in a wall, then by a hole somewhere behind the kitchen cabinets. Well, I'm not about to start ripping kitchen cabinets down and granite counters out so the eviction notice will have to wait until the weather cooperates. Maybe if I put a bowl of nuts in the attic it will keep him from coming down looking for food.

Sucks having a conscience.

Damn right. Get a "have a heart" trap if you don't want to kill it and get that little bastad. I had a friend lose the top of his house to those little effers, no kidding.

My girls wouldn't have that friggin rodent bogarting on their good life for long. I might get it's head for a present...

It sucks dealing with cute critters, but we can't just let the sum **** run around and crap in the house.

I live on a green belt and wife saw a mouse run up into a weep hole at the bottom of the brick line while feeding the dogs. It managed run up the exterior wall to get up into the attic and back down into the kitchen cabinet through a space where the exhaust vents, plumbing and electrical runs down. He would drive the dogs nuts at night waking us up.

He wouldn't touch spring or sticky traps. He wouldn't crawl in the mini have-a-heart. So I started putting out chocolate a little piece each day, until he got addicted and comfortable. Then put the have-a heart back down with the chocolate in it a we got it.

Your mice must go to school for that or something. We don't get them often at all. But when we do, I can bait a spring-trap with a picture of a dead mouse in a spring-trap before I go to bed, and have a winner when I wake up.

The last guy was under the kitchen sink. Got his leg caught in the trap so he was still highly mobile dragging that thing around under there and making a racket. I un-trapped him into a brown paper bag and then let him go at the base of the house next door. Vaya con Dios my little friend.

The house next door George ? Must not like your neighbors...lol.

Ya know, if these little boogers were destructive, I'd kick their little arses out in a heart beat. I've gone up in the attic with a flashlight and can't see a single thing out of whack. No chewed on exposed wires, no insulation out of place or wood getting munched on. Like they aren't even there. Flying squirrels are very stealth, ninja like even. Dare I say.....even a personality to these guys. Chasing them around is definitely reminiscent of the old Tom and Jerry cartoons.

I know this may hurt, but picture me in my underwear with a pasta strainer in one hand and a ravioli scoop in the other chasing this guy around and getting out smarted at every turn. I know....I know....not a pretty thought, but would make me a fortune on Youtube if the wife ever decided to film it.

Wait until he invites his friends over to visit his cozy pad. You'll pay someone $$$ to get them out.

They are a little rough around the edges, and setting the wildlife free over there is the only thing I have to do with them.
