NAD C542 CD Player needs repair

This unit was working great until it started not reading disks. I just replaced the laser tonight, but that did not fix the problem.

Maybe somebody can fix this and have an outstanding CD player. Included is the original box, original remote, original manual and also a copy of the service manual with parts lists and detailed drawings. Also included is an additional brand new laser (plus the new laser in the machine).

I think I am the second owner.

Cosmetically it is in 8/10 to be conservative.

These still sell for $200 to $300 on other sites.

Looking for $75 shipped to your door and I will cover the PayPal fees. Also open to trades.

I'm quite interested in this, but I'm not terribly confident in my ability to fix it, considering that replacing the laser assembly didn't seem to fix it. I'm not trying to lowball you, but I'd be willing to risk it for $50..
