Hi all

I may get a chance to get a pair of MG1.4 this week. They look okay on the pictures but wont be able to see them till Thursday. The seller was asking $175 but it will take $150 may be less when I see them.

Anything that I need to look for. I know they will need work and I am willing to do it.

    Nice little speaker. De-lamination is what you will be listening for. This is when the wire bonded to the Mylar diaphragm has come loose and vibrates against the mylar, causing a buzzing sound. fear not, as it is a relatively simple repair that most don't wish to attempt.

    If they are in nice condition overall, they would be a very nice speaker, even if you need to do some repairs...
