If the condition is really as good as he says, AND you don't have too far to go to pick them up, AND you're a motivated buyer, they could work out--he's right, they are somewhat rare. -
So a friend of mine who is into vintage stero equipment told me he'd rate the condition of mine from very good to excellent. My question is honestly how rare are a first gen set of sda 2's with the original ic cable in the 3pin configuration?Receiver: Yamaha RX-V667

If you can get them for that (Starting bid) and they are mint then yes it's a good deal.The starting bid is somewhat high. The B-I-N is way beyond typical market price.
