I just finished reading a book on his life. Interesting life he has led. Love his music, especially the early Allman Brothers stuff.

the show was a fast 2 hours! the band members were top-notch. gregg voice sounds as good as ever. i dont think he played enough B3, though. but who cares. he looked healthy and strong. didn't leave anything out as far as set list goes. the song; it think it's 'one way out', where it ends with the blues lament: it just might be old man...well, that was spot-on..the guitarist from his band had all the right licks and tones.
gregg's son aaron opened and he's a real demon on guitar as well. he played during his father's set for a few tunes
all in all a stellar evening. my buddy and i left there and went to the bamboo room in lake worth and caught the last hour of 'the merry franksters'. a very authentic FZ tribute
