I took my Grandson to Boise Idaho during the holidays, his mom recently divorced so I have been doing a lot of stuff with the little feller. We seen a lot The Cascade Mountins, Idaho City, Boise State Forest, **** Canyon, was in Oregon, was a great time. He got to go Pheasant, Duck, and Goose Hunting, with cousins he met for the first time we also checked out The Birds of Prey.
I also checked out the Stereo Shop, lots of nice Audio Equipment there, and the Sportsman's Warehouse it was a good time, saw antelope, beautiful area those of you that live there or in the area have a place to be proud of for sure. I will visit the area again to go fishing and Elk hunting, cant wait to return.

Thanks for sharing!
Family bonding is important and rewarding.
I remember going to Stanley, Idaho for some family re-unions before my Grandmother passed away.
The Sawtooth Mountains were absolutely gorgeous!!
And my small boys got some time with their great-grandmother. The pictures and memories are beyond price.

Thanks for the replies, yeah I feel sorry for the little guy and do everything possible to cheer him up this trip for him is something he will never forget. The funny thing is when we were up in the mountains he said he could live there off the land so I started calling him Grizzly Adams, quite frankly I wouldn't mind living off the land myself, it's beautiful up there.
It makes one wonder when one is up in such a beautiful area why there is such turmoil in the world, being surrounded by nature and all, you think of nothing but peacefulness. I look forward to taking the little guy on another adventure soon.Home Theater

Well said, Steve. I'm the same way, wondering how there can be such crap going on in this world when I'm out there just taking in the beauty of the isolated outdoors. And good on you for making the effort to spend time like that with your grandson. Not enough people do that today. Those are times that he'll look back on fondly for the rest of his life and hopefully will someday do the same with his grandchildren.
